Family-friendly fundraising - support after-school programs NDG

Last year, thanks to your support, our Ride for Refuge campaign was a great success! The funds raised helped support four food security projects in our neighbourhood.

This year, we need your support once again!

For the 2026 edition, we are raising funds to support after-school programs at five community centres in NDG. These programs provide children and youth with a safe place to do their homework, enjoy a snack, and take part in sports, arts, recreation and social activities.

Unfortunately, these programs are currently facing significant funding challenges, resulting in cuts and fewer services for our young people.

 Our 2026 goal: raise $25,000 to support these essential programs!

There are several ways you can help:

• Make a donation, whatever the amount;
• Share the campaign with your family, friends and neighbours.

Every contribution makes a difference and helps ensure that NDG youth have access to the opportunities and support they need to thrive.

Together, let’s make sure every child and young person in NDG has access to after-school programs where they can learn, grow, connect and thrive.

Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.

 Thank you for your support and for your commitment to our community!
